Together we are resilient.

Final Draft Outback SA Drought Resilience Plan

The draft Outback SA Drought Resilience Plan was developed with the community, for the community.

Thank you to all of the community members and regional stakeholders that told us what is needed to strengthen drought resilience so the plan can drive the change you want for your future.

The final draft Outback SA Drought Resilience Plan is currently being reviewed by the CSIRO.

Engagement Updates

July 2024

The draft Outback SA Drought Resilience Plan was presented to the community and stakeholders during three online forums and an agency workshop held in June 2024.

Feedback on the draft plan was received through a survey and with input from the Outback SA Regional Drought Resilience Steering Committee, the final draft prepared and submitted to the CSIRO for review in early July 2024.

The final plan will be published following this review.

April 2024

The first round of engagement has been completed. 16 face-to-face workshops, drop-in sessions and dinner conversations were undertaken with stakeholders and communities in 13 outback towns throughout March and April 2024. Opportunities for online engagement were also provided through an online survey, online workshop and phone calls to individuals. 114 individuals took part in the engagement.
